Interview on Radio 4’s “Thinking Allowed”

I was interviewed by Laurie Taylor of Radio 4’s “Thinking Allowed.”  The beginning of the interview was…  interesting.

You can listed to it here..  Start 18 minutes  in.    And if you appear to be listening to a murder mystery, don’t assume that it is unrelated to the interview.

Thinking Allowed is described thus.. “Laurie Taylor leads a weekly discussion on topical issues within our academic institutions and research bodies.”  Of course, I am an academic and biased, but as someone who reads Science Times and wishes that there were an equivalent for other academic disciplines — a thoughtful, intelligent summary of interesting topics and current research — this idea for a program struck me as brilliant.
